Merry Christmas

Wow!  I can’t believe it’s been a whole month since I posted a blog.  We’ve been busy!  Boy, have we been busy.

We’re at a new place this year and have spent a  lot of time getting to know people, volunteering for things and sightseeing.  Sometimes at night I plop down on the couch (with Buck) and that’s all she wrote.

I volunteered to do the newsletter without realizing how time consuming that would be gathering everything and then getting it together.  Some folks are always last minute so the stress doesn’t really come until the end.  Then, we started bowling on Wednesdays, baked some cookies for the group, volunteered for this and that.  The list went on and on.  Sometimes I wonder what we’ve got ourselves into!

We have had some time to do a little touring but usually with others.  We’ve been lucky that we’ve met some pretty good friends so usually have someone to go to dinner with.  There are quite a few other newbies here which makes it nice.  On top of that we’ve had get togethers with folks in Apache Junction and Tucson.  Terry’s mom continues to do well and we drive up to Phoenix at least once a week to visit.

It’s Christmas time and now I’m on my way to spend it in Washington with family.   I just wanted to write a little blog, tell you we’re well and wish you all a Merry Christmas!
